Soumya Nahar will once again represent Madhya Pradesh at the SGFI National Kho Kho
Soumya Nahar, student of St. Joseph Convent Idgah Hills, Bhopal, has been selected for the SGFI National Kho Kho Girls 17 years age group, to be held in Ayodhya from December 20th to 24th. Due to the excellent performance of Soumya, the team of St. Joseph Eidgah Hills is the winning team of Bhopal District School Kho Kho and St. George Cup Kho Kho tournament this year. Soumya is currently a Grade 11 student and began playing Kho Kho in Grade 4. She also won a bronze medal in the 100m race at the CBSE Cluster Athletics Championships.
The school’s Chief Kho Kho Coach, Mr. Vishnu Kant Sahay, expressed his delight at Soumya’s success, saying, “This is a wonderful result of Soumya’s consistency and dedication.” He also noted that Soumya represented Madhya Pradesh at the SGFI National Kho Kho competition last year, a testament to her talent.
On this occasion, the school’s Principal Dr. Sister Lily, Vice Principal Sister Stania, Head of Sports Department Ravdeep Singh Malhari and all the teachers and teachers of the school family expressed their happiness and congratulated.
